The US$60 million upgrade and expansion of Kingston Wharves Limited is to begin shortly. The project includes a $US30 million redevelopment of Berth 7 with reconstruction of 183 metres of space at Port Bustamante to service additional vessels. The plan also includes the US$25 million construction of a warehouse complex on Ashenheim Road in Kingston. This will facilitate the expansion of logistics facilities for freight handling and joint-venture investment opportunities.
